I typically trust Great Clips to do my simple haircuts, and I stopped by the Green Springs location and came out looking like a child took scissors to my hair. Twice during my haircut, I asked the stylist (I believe her name was Jessica), to fix her mistakes because the cuts were very uneven and noticeable. She continued to cut it shorter and shorter without correcting the problem, so I decided to get up and leave before she could do anymore damage. Now my hair is uneven, choppy, and worse than before. If you are going to get a haircut, save your time and self esteem by going elsewhere.

The stylist who washed my hair (a young hispanic girl) didn’t seem to know the basics of how to properly wash hair. That was the worst hair wash in my life, and I have always washed my hair in the saloon, at least 3 times a week for the past 30 years. She was unskilled and oblivious to how to wash hair. I had to intervene and start scrubbing my scalp only to find out that the shampoo did not even touch my scalp and it was only on my hair level!!!! It was uncomfortable and unprofessional. Even I could wash other people's hair better than that girl who apparently went to school to learn all this. On top of that, another stylist (a tall, chubby woman with multi colored hair) was rude and dismissive toward me when I asked for my hair to be fully dried. I had already clearly mentioned this request while my hair was being washed, yet I was treated like I was being difficult for asking for something so basic. Customer service was lacking, attitude was unnecessary, and overall the experience felt very unwelcoming. I will not be returning and would not recommend this location to anyone who values basic professionalism and courtesy. Also, I came back home and washed my hair at the sink with the help of my bf and I must say, he did an amazing job.
