- GGGrayOct 29, 20251.0I’ve gone multiple times. Usually I leave with a mediocre haircut but nothing horrid. I figured I’d be fine this time because I wanted a very simple cut. I tried to show my picture to my stylist and she gave maybe one glance before deciding she understood. Well, she didn’t, and I know she didn’t because she immediately took out clippers when my reference photo was clearly scissored on the sides. I should have just gotten up then, in hindsight. So she continued to do my cut in almost utter silence, and when I expressed concerns she brushed them off every time. I sat there panicking in silence as she chopped off way more than I asked for (I said something about this!!! Even without glasses I could tell!!). She did not care about what I wanted at all. She wanted me in and out of the chair so she could get paid. That much she made obvious. She roughly brushed my neck and I got out of the chair wanting to throw up from how stressful those 5 MINUTES felt. I paid because I didn’t want to make a scene, and she was so nonchalant about it that I didn’t want to bother. I’m never coming back. And I’ll be telling everyone I know to avoid Greatclips locations from now on. It’s not hard to care. Really. LISTEN to your customers when they tell you want.

No “How was your day?” Or anything, which wouldn’t matter at all if not for the next part. After scraping my scalp and ears, she ran the clippers down my neck so many times it left marks and actually burns. This location used to be amazing, the ladies would ask questions to figure out how to improve each cut. Now it’s not even worth the convenience, I’d rather pay double at a quality shop.
