  the east indian girl assigned in the cashier yesterday april 6, 2026 has a poor customer service training. she also don’t know how to do her job, she has poor hearing or comprehension to get properly the details being relayed by the customers. she was also using her phone while on the job. sephora, don’t commit same mistake like tim hortons!!! sephora parkplace mall lethbridge sucks!

  I visited Sephora , Lethbridge frequently. It was favourite spot to buy expensive cologne in past. It was my first time I was visiting this store with my spouse. She was testing one eye liner with a tester but out of sudden one staff “hanna or Anna”whatever her name came and spoke us rudely that you cannot use eyeliner because of hygiene. It seems she was judgemental and naive. Just before this incident foundation applied by one of your staff on my spouse’s face but at that time no hygiene issue occurred but once my spouse started by her own then you have problem. My spouse was about to buying products worth 300$ but this incident spoiled her mood and she ended up with one face cleaning cream. Please teach your staff how to behave with customer. Now i will think multiple time before visiting this specific store where staff don’t know how to handle customer. Pathetic experience first time.

  I came in to purchase a product as I was traveling. The product was out of stock and was recommend another product. I decided I'd try it out. I also found another product I was interested in a tester of, but didn't want to commit to the purchase due to carry on baggage limitations. I asked for a sample and the BA asked me to add it to my account. I said no thank you I didn't want to add the tester to my account. I'm already aware of why, but I should be able to choose what I would like to add or use my account within TOS. I was then told it was "mandatory". I mentioned it was not ever was mandatory to add this to my account. She told me she could call the manager but at that point, it felt uncessary as mgmt should be passing down accurate information to their employees. I then clarified with online support that there has been no policy change to ask for a sample of product and be required to supply my BI account. Asking to add it is fine, pushing me and telling me it's mandatory is just another way that Sephora is becoming non-customer focused.

  Went to this Sephora for the last time today. This store has been so-so since it opened and it's honestly gone downhill. -The staff are either always in your face, to the point that it feels like their watching you to make sure you aren't stealing, or completely nowhere to be found. -They never have anything in-stock -despite what the app says. -I've been snarked at for having returns and asked "why don't you come in for a colour match instead of trial and error", but they don't have anything in store. Yet, today I was told to just order the product online, try it and then return it. Not a hassle whatsoever... -It seems like they spend a substantial amount of time rearranging the store. Nothing is where it was even two months ago. -The smell, lighting, and cramped layout are an absolute nightmare if you have sensory issues. Add in the overpriced product (that you can buy on that products' OWN website and get better samples/freebies), and I genuinely do not understand why anyone continues to shop here. Three stars, only because a few of the staff are honestly wonderful, even if they don't have any idea about what they're selling you.
