  I came into the store looking for a lightweight foundation I could wear when getting my graduation photos done. I have no previous experience with makeup and I was roaming around the store aimlessly until Mimi asked if I needed help. I told her my situation and she knew exactly what to do. She started by asking if my skin was oily or dry (it’s oily) and she took me to Huda beauty’s foundations. She tried a couple shades and matched me rather well with the colour Crème Brûlée. Mimi made sure it wouldn’t look too heavy on me and that it addressed my oily face and matched my skin tone perfectly! After the foundation was selected she asked me if I needed anything else, like a blush or concealer. I have dark under eyes so she suggested a colour corrector by Huda beauty, which I unfortunately did not like, but the she shade matched me with the NARS concealer in Affogato and I loved it. The concealer worked really well to cover my dark under eyes, which I appreciated, and blended well with the foundation she helped me pick. She did such a great job that my friend, who was shopping with me, also asked Mimi for help finding a good shade match for her dry skin. Mimi also helped my friend find a near-perfect shade. Over all I had a great experience at this Sephora as it wasn’t terribly crowded at this location and, obviously, we were helped by such a wonderful person. If you are shopping here anytime soon you should look out for Mimi, she did so well and was extremely friendly and patient!

  The girl working today with the red bandana who came up to me grabbed my things and put them into a basket when I said no thank you I don't need a basket. ( I only had two small items) then proceeded to take my products back and put them into the basket and tell me. It's policy. ( legally no it's not as someone with friends at the west Ed location) it is not policy you were just being a racist. And hey it's 2025. Racism isn't in anymore :)

  The customer service here can really be hit or miss. Some associates are wonderful and take the time to help, while others seem uninterested or even rude. During my last visit, an employee kept ridiculing me for being in HER way, which I felt was totally disrespectful and uncalled for. Overall, the store gives off a bit of bad energy — it doesn’t feel welcoming or positive, which makes shopping there uncomfortable. It’s disappointing because the products and selection are great, but the atmosphere and attitude of some staff really bring the experience down. I won’t be going back to this location until things change.

  Went back to this store after a month to see if a product that suggested had come back in stock. The sales associate at the front entrance was not friendly at all. It seemed like she didn't want to help me. I told her why I was there. She walked me to where this product would be and just stood there. I asked her is here. She looked for it and couldn't find it. Thanlkfully another sales associate was right there and was kind enough to check on her phone to see if it was still on backorder and it was. The first sales associate just walked away. The other sales associate was great. She helped me find another product and helped me matched perfectly. I wish I had gotten both of their names. When I go back I will be looking for the second lady. I would have given 5 stars if i hadn't dealt with the first lady.
