    Unfortunately, this was the poorest Sephora experience I’ve had. The store lacked adequate mirrors (up high which doesn't work for short people) and poor lighting, which made it difficult to properly assess products. I also had to insist that foundation shades be tested on my skin, and there was little effort to ensure an accurate match. During my visit, I was approached repeatedly by multiple sales associates, which felt overwhelming rather than helpful. When I asked about Rhode (Hailey Bieber’s brand), I was told it wasn’t carried at that location. It was carried and I found it myself. I value thoughtful and informed recommendations—especially when it comes to skincare (I ONLY buy medical grade. So the effort was wasted on me) and complexion products. This visit felt transactional rather than consultative, which was disappointing. I hope the store can improve in-store experience.

    I had an amazing experience at the Sephora South Common location thanks to Neiba. She was incredibly patient, kind, and provided outstanding customer service. Neiba took the time to really understand what I was looking for and helped me find the perfect perfume. She made the whole experience enjoyable and stress free, and her positive attitude truly stood out. This was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had at Sephora. Thank you, Neiba!

    Some staff as well as the store MANAGER here blatantly makes false claims of some products beings cruelty-free and/or vegan just to make more sales, especially for Sephora’s own home collections. You guys have also gone down in your business ethics like many other companies since Covid. Note to others: if a brand is not specifically labelled cruelty-free and/or vegan, then it’s not.

    I don’t know who is managing their store but I think they’re telling their staff to harass their customers. I’ve been profiled twice while shopping here and I swear I’m thinking about getting a lawyer and recording it next time. I’ve been a loyal customer for three years and get followed and watched Everytime. I truly don’t even shop anymore because they do it every single time? For no reason 😭.

    I visited the store on December 1st at 7:47 PM, fully aware that the store closes at 8:00 PM. I came in for one specific item and planned to be in and out quickly. When I walked in, I was greeted and reminded that the store closes at 8:00 PM, which I understood and acknowledged. As I went to grab the item I needed, a woman—who appeared to be the manager based on her different uniform—approached me in a very negative and hostile manner. She told me that as soon as I found what I was looking for, I needed to head straight to the register because they were “closed.” I checked the time, and it was only 7:50 PM. There was no line at the register, and there were still two other customers shopping. Her tone was so unnecessarily rude that I felt extremely uncomfortable and almost left without purchasing anything. I work in retail myself, so I completely understand not wanting customers to keep you after closing—and I was very clear that I only needed one item and wasn’t going to hold anyone up. Still, her attitude was unprofessional and completely uncalled for. I genuinely feel bad for the rest of the staff, because she seemed rude to everyone around her. I’ve never had a negative experience at Sephora before, but this was truly disappointing. She needs a serious reminder that this is not how customers should be treated.
