- JJJackieJun 27, 20253.0It's a great place if you're getting a MENS cut or a KIDS cut but not if you're a woman who cares about her hair. I usually go here but not anymore. I will bring my kids here though, because they do genuinely do a good job on their hair (it's usually just a trim). The last hair cut I got from here turned out HORRIBLE. It's giving, short 80's mullet, and not in a good way.. Part way through my cut (while layers were being cut) I told the hair dresser I would like layers a little higher. She says "okay. " Makes a sour face, quickly combs and pulls one side of my hair and just saws it off. When she saw my look of horror and fear she said "oh don't worry. I'll blend it in." She did in fact NOT blend it. It's been almost 2 weeks of me coming up with different ways to style my hair so I don't look like doll that a kid gave a hair cut to.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
