    Review for Sephora (Downtown Calgary) ​I am very disappointed with the repeated poor service at this location. I have had two major issues that have made me decide to stop shopping here. ​Dishonest Makeup Service: I previously had a makeup application where the staff member repeatedly told me I looked "beautiful." When I got home, I realized the makeup was applied so poorly I looked like a clown. I felt like a monster walking home with people staring at me. It was incredibly dishonest of the staff to tell me it looked good. ​Dismissive Customer Service: Today, I went in to look at perfumes. I was standing in the women's section and specifically asked for a woman’s perfume sample. The lady didn't even listen to me—she just handed me a man’s fragrance and moved on. ​As someone who loves luxury fragrances, I expect the staff to listen and be professional. Between the bad makeup and the wrong samples, I feel disrespected as a customer. I will be going to a different location or a different store from now on. This location needs to train their staff to actually listen to what women are asking for.

    Went here 3 days ago to buy miss Dior perfume and Emma is the one accommodated me even tho she was busy. She's nice, helpful and so fun.Very nice experience!!!

    Hello, I would like to share feedback about my recent experience at your store. I visited Sephora to choose a concealer. I noticed that the tester color looked very different from the new product in the box. I asked an assistant Roya for help, and she called a supervisor or manager Kayla .The response I received felt dismissive, and I was told the difference was because one product was new and the other was old, even though the colors looked clearly different. Later, when I try carefully opened another product just to check the color (without using it), the manager spoke to me in a rude tone and told me that I could not open it. I understand store policies, but the way this was communicated felt unfriendly and disrespectful. My English is not perfect, and it was clear that I am not originally from Canada. I felt that the attitude toward me was different, and I believe that if I were a native English speaker, the response might have been more polite. This made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. After this situation, another assistant named Emma approached me. She was kind, professional, and helpful. She listened to me and helped me choose the right products. Thanks to her support, I decided to make a purchase of foundation and concealer. If not for Emma, I would have left the store without buying anything. I am a regular customer at this location, and I hope customer service can be respectful and supportive to all customers, regardless of language or background.

    The worst experience with this store. Someone redeemed my birthday gift through my account. I found out via email a transaction was made but not by me. The employee didn't bother checking that persons ID to make sure to match the info on my account. Called the store to talk to the manager and she would not take my call or even call me back at a later time. She makes her employees do her dirty work.
