  Cristin should learn how to talk to kids, she shouldn’t be on job..hope you have done some behavioural assessment and mental health check before hiring ..she spoke so badly with my daughter..hold her head tight and trimmed hair very short ..lacks politeness , zero humanity..wonder how you guys keep such ladies on job ..wish I could sue you guys ..My daughter is traumatised the way she spoke to her ..she is crying continuously after visiting this place ..this saloon should be shut down unless they change their staff ..NEVER EVER GO TO THIS PLACE

  This place used to be better in terms of staff professionalism and attitude. I don’t know what happened that this place changed much quickly. I went to get a hair cut and it was not very busy, one person waiting before me. The older lady, darker hair and short height came to register me and asked about my phone number. While I am saying my number in the middle she yelled at me asking to talk loudly!! I am in my 50s and don’t let anyone to yell at me in public unfairly. No one should do it on anyone while providing a service. I looked at her and repeated my number and she noticed that I was angry. She said that my voice tone was gentle and I needed to talk loudly. Well, I am a public speaker and no one has mentioned about my voice. Your staff may need a hearing aide if she has issues with hearing. If she believes that she has right to increase her tone on a darker colour skin person, then she is wrong. I suggest that you help your staff to improve their customer service and professional attitude at work. If she needs me to repeat a number that could be asked more politely and respectfully. The lady who cut my hair was polite though. Thank you!

  This experience happened a few months ago, but it has stayed with me and continues to leave a bad impression. I came in with my mother, a Black woman with naturally curly hair. At the time, her hair was straightened and she was simply looking for a regular dry trim. While we were waiting for the next available stylist, one stylist looked at my mother and refused to cut her hair, stating that she does not cut “that” type of hair. We were confused, especially since my mother’s hair was straightened and she had requested a dry cut. Another stylist ultimately cut her hair and the result itself was fine. However, the initial comment was deeply disappointing. It came across as discriminatory and insulting, and to our knowledge, there was no acknowledgement or accountability for what was said. If you are a woman with naturally curly hair, even if you choose to wear it straightened, I would not recommend this salon. Clients deserve professionalism, respect and stylists who are equipped to approach diverse hair types with care.
