Even though we are in different age brackets she knew a lot about mature skin and suggested some great options and gave me a few samples. It was so nice to feel seen and listened to. I want to mention how wonderful this interaction was and it will make me come back to this location for my beauty needs.

The first girl that helped me, I did not catch her name because she didnt wear a name tag but the has bangs and long hair and middle eastern. I asked her for a foundation match, then sponge fell on the floor and then she was going to use that sponge on me. I was like "No, that fell on the floor. Do not use that one me. Please do not touch me or help me any further." and she gave me an attitude. But like, what if I did not catch her and she used a dirty sponge on me or another customer and cause skin irritation. Do you not teach your staff about sanitary? Like in the hospital, if something falls on the ground, the hospital staff will leave it for the cleaner or wash their hands after they pick it up. And never ever use anything that fell on the floor for another patient. I looked for another staff and it was way better. I will never be coming back to this location.
- CWCinda WSep 17, 20253.0This is in regards to the Core location in Calgary specifically. The employees were extremely kind and helpful as always. However the smell in that store was unbelievable. I am scent sensitive but it was ridiculously perfumed. Even the items I bought smelled so strongly I had to immediately take the boxes outside. Packaging for non-perfume items should not have a perfume scent. I don’t know if anything can even be done about this because every Sephora smells awful but this one was over the top.
