Completely regret my decision going to this Great Clips. I asked for a simple under cut with 2 to 3 fade. The stylist nodded her head implying she understood and we discussed on how to cut the top. 10 minutes later ( waited longer than the cut took). She said she was done. I asked her to add a fade, then she proceeded to tell me a long story about my son having baby hairs and she couldn't do it. My son is 10 years old! I realised she was probably not capable of doing fades. I could do a better hair cut at home. The hair cut cost me $28! for a KID! come on. I would like Great clips to provide my son with a free hair cut, that I can take to another location for the company to redeem themselves.

My haircut takes 10 minutes and I am charged almost $30 this time around. This price will have me look around to see if there is something cheaper.
- SKSue KAug 31, 20251.0Grotesquely incompetent doesn't even begin to cover it! I USED to have long hair. I went in for a TRIM and now I have ugly, short hair! I ASKED for LAYERS in the sides AND the back. AND I asked for it to be slightly inverted. MARLA refused to cut layers in the back and it looked like a grown out mullet. The manager said that I could see Marla again and when I went back to get layers cut in the back. Only this time Marla was super rude. She said that she needed to even out the sides, which looked fine and she cut them off! My hair was to mid back and now the sides are above my shoulders! She STILL refused to do layers and I ended up with the same truly awful mullet haircut only now short! MARLA is truly awful! She cut off all my hair for having the audacity to come back and try to get the hair cut I ASKED for. She made stupid comments like "the back of the hair isn't the same as the sides of the hair" (in regards to why she REFUSED to do layers in the back) and "Maybe you just need realistic expectations for your hair." My *realistic* expectation is that a hairdresser will give me the cut I asked for and not cut off all my hair and give me a mullet!

If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
