I’m a truck driver, and I had parked at the fuel island to activate my card for fuel. While I was doing so, the older woman with glasses at the front desk approached me in a rude and unprofessional manner, telling me to move—despite the fact that I was the only truck at the fuel island. Several others were parked in undesignated spots, yet she chose to single me out. As the only person of color present, the interaction left me feeling targeted and discriminated against. Because of this experience, I chose not to give this location my business and will not be returning.
