She took time to extol the virtues of the different grades of wiper, checked a current shipment (out of stock on the shelf) retrieved them from the new delivery, and sold them to me at a very good price. 100% service and great personality. About an hour later while eating out, I realized my wallet was missing. We had done a few other things before dinner and we retraced our steps. No wallet.... Carquest was closed but I left a business card and a note in the front door. This morning, before opening time, Vikki called. "I hev your wallet in our safe waiting for you!" A simple purchase with great service and honesty/character. I highly recommend Cody Carquest. They are good people!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
