- CSConnie ScottOct 22, 20252.0I went in today to buy 2 lottery tickets and the older black gentleman talked to me about a 5 ticket deal that was $16. When he was talking about the 2 by 2 I kept asking him if that covered one of the other lotteries or if it was something separate. He just kept repeating the same thing over and over and over which was not answering my question. When I kept trying to ask the same question in a way he could understand he kept saying "hold on, I'm trying to explain it to you". I finally told him he was not answering my question and was just repeating himself which wasn't telling me anything. I had also asked about what someone else had told me where you can get something like a double play where you can use the same ticket for 2 consecutive drawings and it was cheaper than buying 2 separate tickets for each drawing but he knew nothing about that and didn't even try to figure that one out. When I gave him the money he kept repeating over and over which tickets I had even though I understood him the first time and told him "yes, I get it, here is my money" but he just kept saying the same thing over and over again anyway and I kept saying "here is my money". I know he thought he was being helpful but was not helpful at all because he was not listening to me. I figured the only way to get out of there at this point was to just try to get him to ring me out and go home and look it up myself to get my questions answered. I think I will need to start buying my tickets elsewhere since he wants to do nothing but keep repeating himself.
