Id recommend this shop to ANYONE even for just car repair & maintenance not just an interlock calibration. Their amazing & so sweet. When they see you they genuinely seem happy to see you like your an old friend 🧡 them. Go see them, & they have the best cheapest price for calibration. Mines around 30$ vs. Big o tire on Yellowstone doesn't do it any more. I think only D&R does them now. I had to drive all the way to Fort Collins to Big Boy Toys to get it done yesterday & only had an hour to get their before they closed bcuz I overslept & D&R was closed. I only had 6 hrs before my lockout. I got there with only 7 min to spare. Won't do that again I hope but the guy there was awesome too. But in Cheyenne if there were 50 shops that did calibration, id still go to D&R

The person who i originally talked too was awesome Dan, it was the install that was a pain. Parts weren't sent; bad communication between installers and techs, wrong unit sent out 3 times, and the intoxalock Corp kept saying i missed install appointments which wasn't true, my vehicle was in the shop for a week waiting on install, the machine itself is kinda a pain to use
Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock
How does an interlock device work?
An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance. To read more on Intoxalock, you can read our ignition interlock device guide.
What is the cost of an ignition interlock device?
The installation of an ignition interlock device, often called a car breathalyzer, typically costs between $70 and $150. This one-time fee is paid at the start of your lease and covers the service center's labor to install the device in your vehicle. Payment is made directly to the service center at the time of installation. For more on cost breakdowns, you can read our cost of ignition interlock device guide.
How do I use my interlock device?
Using an IID is simple. To start your vehicle, blow into the device as directed. If the device detects no alcohol, your car will start. You may be prompted for "rolling retests" while driving, where you’ll blow into the device again to confirm compliance. How-to videos are also available on the Intoxalock mobile app.

What happens if I fail a breath test on my ignition interlock device?
If you fail a breath test, your vehicle will not start, and the device will log the event.
