  We arrived at this Pilot truck stop around 9 PM on April 15 to get a parking place. According to the Pilot app, there were 23 available parking spots. However, when we arrived, almost all spots (both paid and free) were already taken. In reality, only 3 spots were technically open, and even those had orange cones placed on them. We understand that cones are usually used to reserve paid parking spots, so we paid for parking and took one of those reserved spots. We then went inside to get a parking receipt. The cashier spoke to us in a very rude and unprofessional manner. We explained that we had parked in a paid reserved spot and needed a receipt, but she insisted these spots were “reserved for someone,” although it was not clear for whom. These were standard paid truck parking spaces, surrounded by other trucks, with no clear distinction. We paid for the spot, so naturally we assumed we were allowed to park there. However, the staff member told us that people would be “clearing out” drivers who didn’t pay and that we would need to move later to another spot. This was confusing and frustrating, especially after a long day of driving. When we asked for clarification, she kept giving unclear answers and repeatedly walked away instead of addressing our concerns. Eventually, we spoke to another manager (a woman with black hair), who confirmed that we were parked correctly and everything was fine. There were two main issues with this experience: 1. The poor and unprofessional attitude of one staff member (middle-aged woman, fair-haired, with a scar on her nose)., along with confusing and inconsistent information given to tired drivers. 2. The lack of proper parking management. If over 20 “available” paid spots are actually occupied by non-paying trucks, and no staff is monitoring or enforcing parking rules, then the system is not working. This leads to confusion and frustration for paying customers. We were willing to pay for parking, but the lack of organization and communication made the experience very disappointing.

  Came to this Pilot yesterday to fuel up and def up and roll out to Mount Storm. This was my first time I think at this Pilot. This place is great and has good food options and enough parking from what I remember. Staff was courteous and I must say it was throughly clean throughout and well lit outside as I pay attention to lighting wherever I go. I was in and out in 20 or so minutes and this is your typical Pilot with diesel/def pumps and all your snacks and food options. I believe there was a Mo's SW grill inside. I had already eaten.   Worst truck stop in the nation.. avoid this place and matter fact, stop fueling in places like this with limited parking spots... Then having inconsiderate employees, who don't care for truck drivers..They should be ashamed

  This pilot is very clean staff. It’s pretty nice they greet you have small talk with you. You know what us truck drivers don’t get as much on the road. Also Prime parking is not honored here so I like to let other drivers know before you spend your money paying for parking .just this week I have paid for parking at three different pilots and none of them have honored it and allow other drivers to park without paying. Nor do they reimburse me for paying..I don’t have any extra money to give Paulette.
