  We purchased an engine for my Jeep Wrangler from Auto Zone 10/1/2024. The engine lasted a whole year and three months 7,500 miles!! It was absolute garbage! I even had my oil changed before it was due. So it wasn't any fault on my end. I requested a refund since I had a 3 year warranty. Auto Zone refused a refund but said they would swap me an engine. The problem is.. I don't want another piece of crap engine!! I really don't feel like being stranded again.. having to be towed and all the wasted time and money. I am so disappointed and frustrated!! Update*** An AutoZone district manager called me and said unfortunately, that is their policy. They couldn't refund the purchase price but they could swap out an engine for my blown up one. Again, this is very disappointing. The engine only had 7,500 miles. Routine (actually ahead of schedule) maintenance. I really don't want to gamble on another engine from AutoZone. It's very disappointing and frustrating.

  The Customer Service at the Moundsville store is amazing. They’re always quick to help and knowledgeable! My absolute favorite of the local parts stores! These guys know their stuff! John is always full of knowledge and help. Chris doesn’t mind helping me figure out the right tool needed when I can only describe it as a claw-like pulley puller. They are a top notch team!! And Y’ALL their rewards program is worth it if you spend any money in the parts store!!!
