  Our waiter was absolutely outstanding the food was amazing. Very happy with this place. I have never heard a waiter say that he loves his job. The live music was amazing. 10/10 will be returning!

  We arrived at the marina for our scheduled rental of a pontoon boat. No parking on the main level so we parked on the upper gravel lot. We were abruptly greeted by an employee saying it would cost $30 to park there for our 5hrs of rental. We asked if there was any other parking nearby where we could walk more and pay less, to which he said there was nowhere else. We walked down to pay the $30, returned to our vehicle to place the tag in our vehicle while 5-7 more vehicles proceed to park WITHOUT being charged. We then got on our boat (after very respectfully waiting 30 minutes past our reservation because they had two people operating the entire marina and parking?) and the gentleman said he would have to replace the previously damaged ladder “if we wanted a ladder”? While on the lake, the water levels were high with spots of debris as it had rained all week prior. We stopped at two different spots, both times having to get back in the boat because the anchor was not long or heavy enough and the boat kept dragging. As we returned (30 minutes before our reservation was up) the employee stated we damaged the propeller and would have to pay an additional $150. Stating this likely happened from us bringing the boat too close to land, or FROM DEBRIS-which is also our fault? He went on to state that this has been happening more frequently this season, with propellers being “damaged” 2-3x weekly. We were obviously very frustrated but still respectful and had been overly respectful of the boat and property that was not ours, only for the employee to say “well there’s no where else for you to go” when stating this treatment and shady practice makes us not want to return. Bottom line-feels very much as if they’re trying each and every way to squeeze any cent from you. Very disappointed.

  Good waterfowl watching spot (birdwatching only, not a hunting location.). Technically this is adjacent to a restaurant so be careful where you park. The water access is public and during summer there is a kayak rental place set up there
