I waited in line for 20 minutes for a simple product i had in my hand, even the customer ahead of me left after 20 minutes. During that time, an employee was told to go to the back and stock shelves, by the woman managing the front, who spent most of her time flirting with a male customer instead of helping those waiting. This display of favoritism and poor prioritization left me frustrated and devalued. Customer service should be the priority—even basic professionalism was missing that evening.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
