- SFShay FieldsJan 29, 20261.0Went in for a battery replacement because mine died. As we all know advanced and auto zone do battery testing and installation. I was told that I needed to take my vehicle to the shop or dealership in order to get the battery changed on my 2013 Volkswagen Jetta… I was then given reasons for it that did not make any sense at all being as though I have had my battery changed multiple times from both advanced and auto zone.. so I kindly took my money and business across the street to auto zone paid almost $100 less than what advanced quoted me for a new battery and they installed the new one in 5 mins. I recommend taking your money to auto zone instead.

In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
