  Went in for state inspection.they said my tie rod ends needed replaced. I am a senior citizen in failing heath and I expected to be treated fairly.wrong! 1200 dollars later I paid and left. It turns out they picked parts up local and should have been marked up about 45 percent a decent markup. Instead 300 percent outrageous labor charge for 2 hours labor. Alignment. Sticker. Should be about 600 max with good profit for them. You tell me. If you have money to be taken advantage of patronize these people. Invoice # 166895 I don't think walt dowel would take advantage of people like this when he was iin ownership of Appalachian tire. You decide. Also 39.00 shop supply's fee. Former friend of Walt Dowell and Appalachian tire.

  Purchased 4 tire. One tire came in with a slice in sidewall. Didn't realize it till it was almost flat next morning. After initialy offering to pay half for replacement, management replaced it free of charge. Satisfied with their service. I have used them before. And also had 4 tires shipped directly to them for another vehicle after this. Ms. Starky the manager, is very pleasnt to work with.

  BEWARE!!You may leave with damage you didn't come in with!! I had a alignment done here and everything checked out fine with my vehicles front end. I even had a lower ball joint that I asked them if it needed put on,they said no everything was tight.19 days latter I came in to have the steering wheel straightened my alignment was still good but I was given an estimate for $2500 In front end work,including that same ballpoint the upper balljoint which the boot was all of a sudden busted(looked like it was cut but I can't be sure) and tie rods. All of this might have been possible I guess except for when I left and got on the highway there was a noticeable issue in the front end that was non existent before I brought it in. When I discussed this with Sindy the manager, who was aware that 19 days earlier the only suggested repair was my rear shocks,she told me that fje vehicle wasn't back there long enough for John to do any damage to it,Lol. So in my situation they either didn't get it right the first time which I doubt,or they helped some damage along the second time. Either way I went from satisfied to NEVER AGAIN! And they charged me for my time $60 the second visit.

  Staff was friendly but not knowledgeable. On the wall there’s a poster that says they will explain every charge for services given which was simply not true. I was charged twice for a tire patch and when I asked the front desk person they simply stated they had no clue why I was charged twice for my service and made zero attempt to figure out why and did not try to fix anything just simply shrugged her shoulders and said “ I don’t know why this happened I put in a code and that’s just what rang up” kind of like too bad so sad.. If I could give this store zero stars I would.
