  My experience at this location is listed in the body of my formal complaint letter in which I will allow to speak for itself: "To the Corporate Complaint Department of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, I am writing to formally report a serious and unacceptable incident that occurred at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car location at the Huntington Tri-State Airport. This matter involves employee negligence, misrepresentation, and a failure to honor promised compensation, all of which resulted in significant hardship and financial risk for my family and me. I am requesting immediate review and resolution, including access to the Enterprise security camera footage related to this incident. During my interaction with the Enterprise representative at the airport, my bank card was misplaced by the employee. Despite this, the representative repeatedly insisted that the card had been returned to me. This was demonstrably untrue. The loss of my only method of payment caused substantial distress and disruption, particularly because I was traveling with my medically fragile son, who must eat every three hours to prevent his blood sugar from dropping to dangerous levels. Food is not optional for him; it is medically necessary. Because of this negligence, I was forced to spend my first day in town attempting to locate my missing bank card rather than attending to the purpose of my travel. After involving airport police and reviewing footage from the airport’s security cameras, we returned to the Enterprise desk. At that time, my bank card inexplicably reappeared on the representative’s desk. The employee stated that he did not understand how this occurred and offered an apology. Acknowledging the seriousness of the situation he created, the representative explicitly stated that I would not be charged for the rental car and that I would not be required to refill the fuel tank upon return. He documented this compensation on a business card, which I retained. Given that I was over 900 miles from home with my child and had been placed in a highly vulnerable position, this resolution seemed reasonable and appropriate. However, upon returning home, I discovered that the representative did not honor his commitment. My bank was charged the full rental amount as well as an additional fee for failing to refill the fuel tank. This charge caused my bank account to go into a negative balance. Due to the earlier disappearance of my card and my lack of trust in the employee’s handling of my personal information, I had already transferred my funds to another account for protection. Had I not been closely monitoring my account, I would have incurred overdraft fees as well. This entire situation was mishandled from start to finish. It involved negligence, misinformation, failure to follow through on documented compensation, and a complete lack of accountability. A complaint has already been filed, and this correspondence serves as a formal escalation to Corporate. I am requesting the following actions without delay: A full review of the incident, including Enterprise security camera footage from the Huntington Tri-State Airport location. Immediate reversal of all charges related to this rental, including the fuel charge. Written confirmation of the findings and corrective actions taken to ensure this does not happen to another customer. This experience was not only inconvenient, it was dangerous and deeply distressing given my child’s medical needs. I strongly believe this matter warrants immediate attention and resolution. I look forward to your prompt response. Sincerely, Cheri Paugh" The only compensation I've received is a charge for gas of just under $40, however, the promise of waiving the entire car rental fee was not even acknowledged. I believe the associate fasly made promises that he had no intentions of fulfilling or possibly possessed no authority to do so. I have been patient waiting on a response. Enterprise has neglected to address this issue. I have avoided using their services since just because of the principle of the situation.

  A small airport but with a fully capable car rental area that did a great job getting me set up with a car for a couple days.

  We flew in for a funeral and our flight was canceled because of the ice. Lots of flights were canceled. They could not get us another flight for 4 days. The rental car had to sit in the hotel parking lot unused for 3 days. Enterprise showed no empathy towards us. They could not come get the car because of the roads and I could not return the car because of the roads. They would not comp us in any way. Poor customer service!

  Enterprise car rental was quick, efficient and easy. Staff at drop off AND pick up were wonderful, friendly helpful and knowledgeable. Car was in excellent condition, safe clean lots of amenities and reliable. No hidden costs to sift through and add on options were organized via email and specifically verified on pick up. No weird surprises. Really efficient.
