  After my 2001 Lincoln Town car's windshield wipers became intermittently functioning and in colder and darker weather wouldn't turn on, I heard that my multi-function wiper switch was dying due to age. So I ordered the part and the following Sunday I decided to install it myself in their parking lot. They lent me the long skinny screwdriver to take my steering column apart to replace the part, the first such steering column work I've ever done to any car. When the new switch didn't engage the wipers I got the clerk out and he and I opened up my cowl and took out my wiper linkages and the wipers themselves and discovered that water had gotten into the wiper motor connector. We cleaned it up and put in dielectric grease and the wipers worked again. Then I got in my car to leave and the car was dead and wouldn't start. I took the battery in to get charged and it turns out that the car has had it since 2021 and that it wasn't even a car battery: it was a marine battery. No wonder my OBD-II port, my dash lights, my wipers etc. weren't getting the signals, it had a cheap and old battery that was wholly inadequate sitting in there for years! They charged it up and for the first time in months my check engine light disappeared! Fuel economy numbers also improved slightly with the recharge. Sometimes the simplest and smallest things make the biggest differences. I'd highly recommend them for honest small jobs and services!

  I had a great experience at the AutoZone in Bridgeport, West Virginia, on January 5th, 2026 - thanks to John! He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when assisting me with purchasing spark plugs, coils and a filter. John took the time to make sure I got the correct items for my vehicle, explained my options clearly, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. His friendly attitude and excellent customer service really stood out. I truly appreciate the help and will definitely return to this location because of employees like him. I will be asking for him specifically every time I return going forward!
