- RHRick HillmannApr 18, 20265.0Hometown feel and honest! My exhaust pipe broke behind my catylitic converter and was dragging on the ground until I got home. (Muffler was still attached) I googled muffler shops near me. Mufflers plus cane up and decided to take my car there. It is a first come first serve. Come early. When I arrived I explained my problem, they brought it in right away and inspected the car. Manufacturer suggested replacing the catylitic converter for about a $1000. (Manufacturer part is 8 feet long that included the difuser) They recommended that they cut out the bad pipe including the difuser and replace with a custom bent pipe for under $200. Sold! Like I said in the beginning they gave a vibe of a hometown feel and was honest. They didnt have to give me the option, they could have simply said Manufacturer suggests this. I am definitely recommending them and will go back.
