  Had a small rock chip in my windshield that was stable for several days. Video states that a small blemish in the windshield may remain after repair. After technician did repair, the chip looked the same or maybe slightly brighter. The next morning a good size crack started from chip. Safelite would not even talk about the repair may not of been done correctly. They just told me that it happens and now you have to pay $1300 for a replacement windshield. The technician stated that he had two previous failed repairs the previous week. Sounds like to me, a way to generate extra $$. I would not recommend Safelite.

  Very poor service, arrived late which is hard to do when they give you a 5 hour window. (Even called me to say he would arrive at 4pm but arrived at 5:30pm Took over 3 hours to replace the glass on our truck and had to call for extra help. And when the service was completed there was glass left in the vehicle all over the seats, door handles, in the door cubby’s/cupholders, floor, in the engine bay. And pieces of glass over 1 inch in size left all around the vehicle, as well as small pieces all over the driveway. Very dissatisfied with the quality of service. If I could add photos I would.

  Friendly tech, came at the end of the time slot but was quick and efficient. Cleaned up after they were done. Only hidden cost was the recycling fee but worth paying so you don't have to dispose on your own.

  I've used this company 4 times, since they are the glass affiliate for my insurance (American Family). They are terrific. The scheduling process is so easy. The techs are prompt and efficient, they even remove and save the stickers from the old windshield (like state park admission stickers etc). They will even come to a non-home location - I had my RV at a service center for a few weeks, and the tech replaced my windshield there! Handy to have the option to get windshield wipers replaced at same time, although I haven't price-checked to see how that compares to doing it myself.

  The man who installed my windshield after it was cracked due to hail. He was very informative about the new windshield and its insulation. The job was completed in 20 minutes. Fast appointment scheduling. I highly recommend Safelite Auto Glass.
