I was promised a 100 rebate on my installation costs. I followed their requirements exactly , submitting the online form , receipt, and work order for/of installation. They never gave me a rebate and when I called they said I must submit the form, yet I did exactly that. I even paid for two installations because I bought a new car. With multiple calls this never has been resolved and I still have digital copies of everything both downloaded as well as in my email. Also when agreeing to start with the company there was trouble getting a hold of the provider nearest me, as the company was on extended," holiday vacation ", and did not answer their phone except to say they were not installing until a later date and I should call back. When contacting Intoxalock about the installation and inquiring if the company was contacted that does the install, the operator who I spoke to made an appointment for me that I never agreed to at a location I never chose. Then without knowing they made this unapproved by me appointment I received a " missed appointment fee of $70. There were two other issues of being charged when I had the vehicle serviced which I put two forms in with the original date and extended date of service. They then charged me a lockout fee which I was credited to my account. To make this long story short, my contract is over, obligations fulfilled yet the company still owes me $170 due to no rebate given and the missed appointment fee. I called numerous times to get nowhere and basically be told the same things... The person on the phone acted as though I must not have submitted the rebate form, then said they would review, but zero correspondence or refund or rebate. When you click online a very well speaking person called me in seconds to get me to open an account - these are sales people, like commission based telemarketers. However when calling customer service I could not understand the heavy accents on the operators, although a few did great. When I did understand them only the one problem was resolved, the lockout fee. This reduced what they owed me from $238 to $170.00. They know you have to comply, to drive, and they do not care that they breached their own contractual agreements and are happy to take your money every month yet not give me what I am owed. This was all expensive in the first place without further extortion against me as stated by another reviewer. I'm writing all of this in hopes they honestly read it and evaluate my case and rectify the situation, as I have gotten nowhere on the phone, through emails, or through their customer service chat. I will continue to find multiple outlets to share this review unless I hear from the company. They should be charged with fraud. I will erase this review and put an okay one based on the operation of the unit itself, upon my refund of $70 and receipt of my $100 rebate.

This company is the worst. Once you get setup, they'll never answer your questions, issues or anything. Beyond that if I wasn't diligent during setup; It would have caused massive issues. They entered all of my information incorrectly: the VIN, Plate, Year etc.... The state claims the IID draws .01% of my battery and it will last 3 weeks in winter. Completely false. This device has killed my brand new battery in 2 weeks, leaving my car dead every other day. I can't make it a single work shift without the battery dieing, which is considered a tampering event, adds time to your IID countdown, Create fines, and risks losing your license entirely. This Is dark design that is Setup to extort you. The IID can't be brought inside during winter, the power saving mode doesn't help -- there's additionally A Bluetooth device, GPS, and Camera that constantly draw power as well. I've completely quit drinking for this IID and still have failed samples, this company should be sued into oblivion. DO NOT CHOOSE INTOXALOCK -- there are other companies GO WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY.
