  It was so frustrating when that rock unexpectedly chipped my windshield .. but our entire experience with Safelite (from scheduling to repair completion) made the situation so much better!! They were able to schedule us for the very next day and our technician, Andrew, was punctual and so kind and helpful!! Thank you, Safelite!!

  I came to the Waukesha Safelite location on November 18th, 2025 to replace a windshield that was damaged by large rocks flying off a reckless dump truck (quite infuriating that our state does not enforce accountability with dump truck operators, but it is a different story). Overall, my experience was very positive and I was satisfied with most aspects of the service. Scheduling the appointment was extremely easy through my insurance company, and the process was smooth from start to finish. The employees at this location were pleasant, professional, and helpful. I especially want to recognize Michael, who truly deserves great praise. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and polite, and went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything. He even took the time to show me the materials that would be used, including the Pilkington windshield for the replacement. When I arrived, he was ready for me and made sure everything was handled quickly and efficiently. The only reason I cannot give a full 5-star rating is due to an issue with the calibration after the installation. A technician named Raymond handled the calibration, and while he was very nice and professional, some things were initially missed. After the service was completed, I noticed multiple error messages and warning lights on my dashboard. I had to point these out to him, and he was able to recalibrate and correct the problem. However, I was surprised this wasn’t caught before the car was returned to me, and I ended up waiting nearly an extra 50 minutes in the lobby for the calibration part to be fixed. Raymond did ultimately resolve the issue, and I appreciate his effort and professionalism, but this seems like an area where Safelite could improve. Better training and quality checks for calibration technicians would help prevent situations like this in the future. Despite that inconvenience, I still had a good overall experience and would recommend this location. The customer service, especially from Michael, was excellent, and the windshield replacement itself was done well. With a bit more attention to the calibration process, this would easily be a 5-star experience.

  Setting up windshield replacement service with Safelite was so easy! Took just a few minutes online and they came to me! The guys were prompt, professional and did a great job, at a reasonable price!

  I am beyond disappointed with Safelite’s service, customer support, and warranty. Safelite replaced my entire windshield about a year ago. My car has been sitting in my driveway and was not involved in any accident or impact. One morning I got into my car and noticed a crack in the windshield. Since it was replaced by Safelite and under warranty, I scheduled a warranty appointment. I was told the damage was not covered and then quoted over $1,000 to replace it. I declined. Despite this, Safelite still sent me a confirmation email scheduling the repair at that price — which I never authorized. Shortly after, a second crack appeared in a completely different spot. I did not get hit by two rocks, especially while the car was parked. This strongly suggests a defect, stress crack, or improper installation from the original replacement. I have also spoken with Safelite’s customer service line multiple times, which has been completely pointless and not helpful in any way. No one has taken ownership of the issue or offered a reasonable solution. Safelite refuses to stand behind their workmanship or warranty. The entire experience has been frustrating and unprofessional. For a company that claims to guarantee their work, this has been incredibly disappointing. I would not recommend Safelite based on this experience

  This is the most incompetent business I have ever dealt with in my life. Booked an appointment to have my rear window replaced and they had the make and model of my vehicle for a week and had me drive an hour away to have the rear window installed and after getting there on my appointment date we are sitting in the waiting room for a half hour before they told me that they cannot replace the window because of a felt roof I have on my vehicle? How does a major business like this that specializes in window repair not know that the make and model of my vehicle was not repairable? Why did I waste my Saturday driving to this business and sitting around to find out that they cannot do it? The answer is Safelite is an incompetent poorly managed business that had my family and I waste our Saturday. Thanks for nothing Safelite. I will definitely let everyone know not to use this business due to their negligence and incompetence to complete the task at hand. If I could give no stars I would give none.
