    Bought a high quality battery here less than a year ago. Car wouldn’t start today, so I took my husbands car to work. I stopped at an auto zone store on my way home from work to buy jumper cables and was able to get my car started. I went back to the auto zone store to see if the could test my battery. Said the battery was bad, but to give Advanced Auto Parts a call as the battery should still be under warranty. Called Advanced, associate agreed that it was still under warranty but stated that “he could not do a battery exchange tonight as he was the only associate at the store, but I could stop in at 8am to do an exchange”. I said that wasn’t possible as I start work at 7. I asked if I could purchase another battery at auto zone and then get reimbursed for my old battery, and he said “no, the battery would need to be purchased at another Advanced location”. The next nearest location was over 15 minutes away, and in -5F weather with a known bad battery, I was not willing to take that chance. I ended up buying a new battery at auto zone, and they also installed the battery for me. I will be calling customer service in the morning as this is absolutely unacceptable, and shows that Advanced does not care about the safety of their customers at all, especially in these cold temperatures. Update on 12/15/25; I did call customer service and they said they would not be able to provide money back for the battery under warranty. I asked if I could reach out to the battery manufacturer instead, and the customer support person said that Advanced makes the DieHard batteries. Not only is this terrible customer service on a battery that is less than a year old, but they don’t even stand behind the product they make. I just want my money back for a faulty battery that I spent a lot of money on.

    Crabby today... Not sure what happened, but was just at the store. My vehicle is in need of a new battery. I researched, and due to time thought the free installation would be helpful. I arrive and waited while a phone call was completed. Hi, I'm here for a battery. Pf, ok. What's the vehicle. Vehicle is this model this year and that engine. Employee - well I just have the 1, do you want this? Me - yep, I looked online and saw that was all you had. Oh, can you install it too? Employee - pfft, no way, I'm the only one here, maybe later today. Um, ok, I can do it later too at this point. Do you have car remote batteries? Ya, they're over there by the truck stuff you'll see them. Ok, do you have a way to open the fob to make sure I get the right one? Huh, no, I don't know how to open those. Ok, nevermind I'll do that later too. Normally I wouldn't complain but after spending a premium on an item, would have hoped for slightly better customer service. I get it though, we all have those days.

    Both staff were super helpful in assisting me with my headlights. They were both friendly and professional. I would highly recommend coming to this location. I have made this location my location to come for all my car needs and parts. Too bad I can't give this store a higher score. It truly deserves the highest rating possible.
