  Visited this Tomah Advanced Auto store today bc I had been here a year ago to get my battery, alternator and starter checked. Last year the guy was great. But times have changed. There is a new.... old, white, bald guy with tats sleeves on both arms running the store that needs to be fired due to his lazy, bad attitude and poor customer service skills. Don't be fooled by all the giant posters in the store windows saying how they offer this or that. That's just to lure you in to a bad experience. The store is suppose to open at 7:30am. The guy was in the store but refused to open the door till 7:35am. I had to call the store while i saw him inside wandering around aimlessly to get him to open the front door. Like he was hoping i would just go away. He finally opened the front door 5 minures late. I asked him politely if he could check my battery, alternator and starter with the machine and he said he was busy opening the store and that the computers had never fully closed out last night so it would be awhile? I never heard this before. I then asked for a paper receipt of my car system check when he could do it and he said they don't give car system testing slips at this store. I said I was here last year and the guy gave me a system testing slip for my car. He said we have never done that here. So that was a flat out lie. I returned to my car to wait for him to get around to test my car. I watched him wander around the store aimlessly. No one else was in the store probably bc everyone knows better to come to this store for anything. After another 10 minutes I went back inside and the guy was still wandering around aimlessly doing nothing and I said I would just be going over to O'reillys to have them test my car. So I drove over to O'reillys and they were very kind and helped me immedietly. I then drove back to Walmart for some items and while passing this same Advanced Auto parts store, I saw the store guy outside with his truck hood up working on his own car. So he doesn't want to help you with anything or be bothered by anyone. He just wants a free paycheck and to work on his own vehicle in the parking lot while getting paid by the store owner. Terrible attitude and customer service.

  Had great conversation and customer service. A better experience than going to another competitor. Jessica took care of what I was looking for.

  Had to change my battery In the parking lot while it was below zero outside. Dave and Jessica were accommodating, friendly, and so helpful. I will be back for the excellent service again!
