- PHPamela HegstromDec 26, 20251.0I pulled in for an oil change and specifically stated I didn’t want my air filters checked. I was ignored and the engine filter was checked. It was really dirty and needed to be changed so I bought a new one. My problem is: whoever opened the cover for the filter broke the cover. The fact that it was broken was brought to my attention by the lead who had me step out of my car to view it. My car is running poorly and he said I should just get a new cover, bring it in and they would put it on for me. He said that should fix my car running poorly. I asked how it could’ve broken and he said it just happens. What he did not know, was that the cover had never been opened in the time I have owned the car. No one else touched it —- and now it is broken. What he also didn’t know is that my car was having issues with cylinders misfiring and I was bringing it to the dealership later that day. So - all in all - my experience was horrible because your people ignored my request to NOT check filters, they broke my engine air intake cover when they checked the filter, they did not disclose that they did so, they played it off like I was stupid and would not know why my engine was having problems and they pawned it off as though they would be doing me a favor by installing the new cover for me if I brought it in. On top of that - now due to the price of the part and labor, I am out an additional $263.55 to get this fixed. I had stopped going to this location for oil changes because I wasn’t happy before and I was trying them again due to a good coupon. Once again they have proved why I should not go to them.
