  Based on my experience, I would HIGHLY recommend exercising any other option beforehand. I had hit a deer in November of 2022, and after talking to my insurance company, scheduled an external estimate with Gerber as they are partnered with them. After completing the external estimate, Gerber never contacted me or my insurance, and I called 5 times to confirm my contact information and ask for an update on my estimate. They always responded stating the person who handles that was out of the office. After 4 months of calling Gerber, half the time being sent to voice-mail on their call center, just to have my voice-mail ignored and hear no response, there was no update. Finally my insurance company had to call and give a 30 minute ultimatum to submit the estimate to insurance and notify insurance and myself of the amount. They then submitted an incomplete and undervalued $800 estimate for a repair estimated elsewhere at $2500. I ended up switching to Stevens Point Auto Center and getting the estimate done same day as appointment, and with proper and in depth analysis. I would highly suggest exercising any other option beforehand. Though I understand that most auto centers are extremely busy and backed up, this situation grew beyond that into unprofessionalism.
