  Having to seek out this type of service is never at the most opportune time and isn't something anyone particularly enjoys. Car repairs, in general, it's hard knowing the real from the fakes. An unfortunate market that's riddle with bad actors and scammers. Not these guys. Honest communication with realistic outcomes every step of the way. Thank you for being the good guys.

  After spending over 15 years in the automotive industry, I’ve worked with countless shops and unfortunately, this has been the most disappointing experience I’ve had. I brought in my truck after it was damaged by debris from a nearby fire. While I’ve had good experiences with this company back in Illinois, this particular location left me seriously reconsidering ever using their services again. What should have been a simple repair ended up dragging out across three separate visits, stretching nearly a full month without my vehicle. Each time I picked it up, more problems revealed themselves. The initial timeline was about a week, but when I got the truck back, there were obvious flaws in the paint, and large sections (like the doors, roof, and handles) hadn’t been touched at all. I returned it for a second round of repairs, hoping things would be addressed properly. Communication was vague, and by the time pickup came around, I was told for the first time that the vinyl wrap hadn’t even arrived yet. To make things worse, the truck’s sensors hadn’t been recalibrated, leaving me with dashboard warnings. By the third visit, things had really gone downhill. The truck came back dirty inside and out so much so that I couldn’t even verify what was or wasn’t done. A rear window had been broken and replaced without any notice. There was still glass left in the bed, along with the broken window regulator tossed inside. And somehow, key repairs were still incomplete, like the fuel door and door handle. What made the situation more frustrating was the way I was treated. Instead of owning the issues, the general manager put the responsibility on me — suggesting I should’ve pointed everything out myself, even though I had requested a complete inspection from the start. Given how dirty the truck was each time it was returned, spotting missed work on the spot wasn’t always possible. By the final visit, both the GM and service advisor seemed impatient and dismissive, which only added to the stress. At this point, I’ve decided to take the truck to the dealership to get things properly finished. Even if warranty coverage remains, I don’t plan to go back.

  I’ve had several repairs done over the years and have always had great service. My interactions with their customer service rep, Carmin, their estimator Kimberly, and their manager Jorden were always exceptional. I’d highly recommend Gerber if you’re in need of body work!

  I have a 2019 Hyundai Tucson hit a deer with it minimal light damage passenger side front and it took just about a month to repair and when I go to pick up the vehicle the front bumper cover wasn't even lined right never use their service again
