Anything but instant. This place in Oak Creek used to be a Penzoil and recently was made into a Valvoline. I was ushered into the Bay while two other vehicles were in the other two bays. I waited 10 minutes after pulling in (that's after waiting 10 minutes outside) for anyone to come to my window. There were four or five workers, one of which was standing around. Perhaps they were in training, I'm not sure. Thinking this was going to be quick, my usual 10-15 minute oil change turned into 3x longer. I would have been better off just scheduling with my Ford Dealer. Not sure I'll be back to this location. 😞 And...they give you a sticker reminder for 3,000 miles. Check your vehicle user manual on your vehicle; it may recommend an oil change after more miles than 3,000, especially if using synthetic oil. But apparently that is the "Valvoline standard" per the Employee that was standing around. Sounds more like a money grab to me.

I recently visited this new Valvoline location in Oak Creek and was impressed by the high standard of service. Upon arrival, I met the manager, who was both professional and welcoming. While the service team appears to be relatively new, their commitment to a disciplined, step-by-step process is clear.
The service exceeded the typical 15-minute window; however, the additional time was well-spent on a comprehensive vehicle inspection. The staff was incredibly diligent, methodically checking tire pressure, cabin filters, oil levels, and wipers. For those who prioritize a meticulous "quality-over-speed" approach, this location is an excellent choice.
In an industry where oil changes frequently exceed $80, this team provides genuine value. They are exceptionally thorough, even utilizing a top-extraction method in addition to a standard drain to ensure the job is done correctly. It is evident that the manager prioritizes quality control and customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend this location for anyone looking for attentive and professional vehicle maintenance.
For years I have always gone to a different local spot for my oil change but I am so glad I decided to try somewhere new today. Fast, friendly and honest. I had such a great experience with the 3 people I met who were working today. Everyone was extremely kind and informative. I will be highly recommending Valvoline to all my family and friends.

I stopped by this location on Sunday for an oil change and a coolant flush, and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received at Valvoline Instant Oil Change.
During the visit, my vehicle wouldn’t start back up. The entire team immediately stepped in and was ready to help. I explained that the negative battery wire tends to come loose sometimes, and Brandon and Thano jumped right in to assist. They tightened it just enough so I could safely start my vehicle and drive it to my mechanic to properly fix the wiring issue. That level of teamwork and willingness to help really stood out to me.
The oil change itself went smoothly and professionally. The next morning, I noticed the coolant in my overflow tank was empty after the flush. I went back, and they took care of it right away without any hassle — they topped it off and made sure everything was good to go. No arguments, no attitude — just great customer service.
Overall, I love this location. The branch manager, along with Brandon and Thano, makes you feel very welcomed and appreciated as soon as you pull in. The staff is professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful. It’s hard to find service like that these days.
Highly recommend this location if you want fast service and a team that actually cares about their customers. I’ll definitely be back!
First time I've ever been charged for a service before they perform any work at any service garage.
I'm used to paying at end of the service.
I would have been more comfortable paying for a Mechanic's service that actually happens first, makes sure I'm satisfied with said service.
-they didn't check my tire pressure. But their paper work says they did.
-They didn't offer me options before cashing out.
-they didn't offer me any upgrades, which I'm appreciative of. But used to hearing in the these garages.
-when I mentioned the "owners name" that came up wasn't up-to-date, they didn't ask for the new updated owner information. When I wrote all the new owner information down on my receipt, they mentioned "transactions closed already, I cannot access your profile anymore"... well that's funny, Because you're literally not even finished with my oil change yet (refer to above incident)
Don't charge customers until the job is done.
Make sure you have owner information updated and correct.
Fill up tires.
Offer customers options.
