  ZERO Stars. Do your homework and just search this company and lawsuits. Just in 2025 they were found guilty of falsifying damages on rentals and charging insane fees to customers. They would not work with my insurance with any aspects of this matter or myself when I called. DO NOT RENT HERE, even if it's cheap. Avoid the headache and take a million photos and videos of the vehicles throughout your whole rental.

  I enjoyed renting a car from Sixt. All employees were helpful and friendly, especially Isela, who helped me at the counter at Milwaukee’s airport. Isela led me through my first time renting from Sixt, and she was knowledgeable, courteous, engaging, personable, and most of all, humorous and entertaining with her witty banter. One in a million employees!

  NOT HAPPY at all. We rented in MKE on October 30-November 6. When rented the "mystery car." When arrived they were very pushy to upgrade the vehicle, get the fuel plan and insurance coverage. So pushy it was uncomfortable. After refusing to upgrade, they upgraded us at no cost ( we are guessing they did not have a mystery car for us). They gave us a Volvo, we noted damage and the receipt holder indicated if you notice damage to scan QR code and video it. We did and went on our way. We hunt there, we picked up our car stoped at Walmart in OshKosh and drove the rest of our way (2.5 hrs for airport) to a remote hunting cabin. The car never moved til we left on Nov 6th. We had an early flight out, so our car was turned into airport very early, no one was there to look at the car. We did the key drop and flew home. Ten days later we get an email indicating damage. We thought it was in reference to the video we sent. NOPE, 10 days after that we received an invoice for rim damage for over $700. We did not cause any damage while using the car, we were not anywhere near anything that could cause damage. I emailed the company with no response yet. In reviewing other reviews, this seems to be a somewhat common practice. I will be looking more into this. We travel a lot and rent cars often. WE WILL NEVER RENT FROM SIXT again. I hope you read this and others and don't rent from them either. Very Frustrated Thank you, JM
