However, my rental experience with SIXT at the Milwaukee Airport changed my perceptions. The process and the people were excellent, and the car was brand new and exceeded my expectations. The app even gave me the option of choosing an alternative car if I wanted. Even the return process was professional and welcoming. Excellent job by the Milwaukee Airport team!! I have become a fan of SIXT!

When I returned it the attendant checked the car and said we were OK and because I was trying to catch a flight, I took her at her word. Eight days later I got a bill for damages for over $1200 to the trunk lip. There was no such damage when I returned the car. I asked for a report of the discovery and only got some fuzzy photos and a repair bill that included their lost equity in the car. The photos I received were dated 7 days after I dropped of the car. It is difficult to even make an insurance claim when you have no information.

Turns out they were part of a class action law suit for this same exact scam. Unfortunately nothing has changed and they are still doing it. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.
- GMGreg MurrayMay 10, 20261.0Long-term renter (5 months) here. Sixt customer service left me stranded on the side of an interstate highway for three hours after a breakdown. The CS rep never entered the help request. I eventually had to limp the vehicle to a shop and pay for temp repairs so I could bring it back to switch companies. The people in Milwaukee are nice, but the corporate support and customer service are horrendous. I would recommend going with a different company.
