  Brought my Rav4 in to repair Mirror and scrape on the side of my car under an insurance claim. To take advantage of the car already being worked on and painted, we asked for an addon quote to replace the other mirror and minor scratches to the vehicle to be done at the same time. We were even told that there was a used mirror available - so we said yes let's do that. The quote on the insurance portion was around $1300. When I picked up the car a full week later, they only did the insurance portion of the repairs and none of the add on portion that we had agreed to and expected to be done. What was completed was the insurance portion, so I paid my deductible. When I got home, I noticed that the total invoice was $2500 instead of the $1300 that was quoted. We didn't go with the body work because I didn't want to be without my car for another week, but we did order the second mirror. When scheduling that repair, I asked about the extra $1100 that was on the invoice and was told they must have found something. I asked if it was the calibration and would that be added to the second mirror and I was assured that no there would not be the extra charge because the mirror is straightforward and the quote was $976. They went out of their way to get the second mirror painted in advanced, replaced and calibration scheduled so my car would be returned in one day. I was very appreciative of that. When I went to pay, I was given the invoice for $976 as I expected. Then the clerk was told that there is another part of the invoice. When that was printed out, my total bill was over $1800 due to the calibration. I get that it was a sub-let and would understand the extra charges if I was told ahead of time as part of the estimate. If I was told that up front, I may have made different decisions. I did check for a price estimate at another shop and the price of $1800 was in line, but I don't like surprises like that. No one mentioned the extra charges for calibration before, during or after the repairs, and actually when I asked, I was told there were no additional charges, which was incorrect. Even though the work was done perfect, everyone was nice and they went out of their way to coordinate the second repair so I wouldn't lose my car for a full 2nd week, I most likely will not be returning to Mandar.

  10/10 recommend. This was my first experience having to get body work done on my vehicle. Chelsea kept me informed every step of the way, my car was ready earlier than expected and the work was impeccable. Highly recommend.

  After having insurance work done at Mander, we took another vehicle that was showing some rust. Tony and Chelsea did another great job with the work and keeping us informed. Highly recommend!
