- JPJohn PagelJul 8, 20162.0A convenient "mistake" was made when quoting repairs. I got into a minor accident and brought my truck in for an insurance claim. Got the quote back and was surprised to see a list of repairs for the front right fender which was not damaged at all. All damage was in the rear of the vehicle. I called and spoke with James (Senior Service Advisor) who told me he had put those repairs into the quote by accident and it was an honest mistake (albeit a profitable one). Maybe it was and maybe it wasn't but either way it doesn't exactly build my trust. Well, Gates' loss is their competitors gain. I would just suggest reading the quote carefully before agreeing to let them do the repairs. However, I will say that they have a friendly staff and I was treated very professionally (even by James). I just don't trust that they'll do honest work.
