- MSMichelle ServiAug 6, 20201.0The truck I rented was not inspected for proper functionality before I rented it and the dimmer lights for the dash and radio did not work, so you could not read anything there as it was not lit. I pointed this out before leaving, but no other truck was available to rent so I had to use this non functional truck for a long planned tripped to South Dakota. They also tried to sneak in supplemental insurance on my bill which I never authorized for like 25 dollars extra a day. They did not give me a signed copy of the options I checked when I picked up the truck. After much discussion they did remove the 25 a day charged, but did not want to give me a final bill at drop off after I was waiting 20 minutes for a final bill. I was just suppose to trust them to change the billing. I said no, I need my final bill! Then I did get it. I did authorize the 19.00 a day extra insurance, but called by state farm agent right after I left with the truck who said I did NOT need that because I was actually covered through them for the truck rental. I should have called my agent there, but the rental agent should have known I probable didn't need their coverage. They would not take off that charge even though I didn't need it. I wont be using them again.
