  God bless the staff at National, most kind and genuine people and they helped with our every need. We rented a mini van and it was clean and ran amazing! The kind woman at the front desk also deserves praise for working on Christmas Eve. Thank you

  What airport closes at 6pm. They dont answer the phone so no way to update them about flight delays. Have been EE member for 14 years and im done with National after this. To top it off CS hung up on me. Youre better off flying to Cedar Rapids and making the drive. This airport in general is an absolute joke, and the rental car agencies here are useless. The earliest flight I pull get in here was 543 and they close at 6pm. Thats laughable. I travel over 300 days a year and this is the sortiest excuse for an airport and airport facility.

  For the second day in a row, the website won't let you rent a car. I spent two hours calling the location this morning, but no one picked up. I stopped at the airport location to get a quote. I informed the guy that the website isn't working (He couldn't care less). He said he wasn't aware of that. I asked him if the phones work and he said that they work. I informed him that I called for two hours this morning and no one picked up. His response to that was. What kind of car am I looking to rent? Great customer service. When he finally got me a quote. It was more than double the price I was getting quoted from the Madison airport location. He quoted me $2,040 for 16 days for a compact car. The quote from the Madison location was $930 for a luxury car.

  Our company has long had a relationship with Enterprise as a company approved travel vendor. We've had good experience with Enterprise over the years with fair rates and the flexibility needed for business travel. A representative from Enterprise Mobility suggested we use National Car as Enterprise owns them and they are more convenient for business travelers. We have employees working in the La Crosse area for the next year with the need for a rental so we booked them with National. The experience was extrememly disappointing. While the rates were competitive, the flexibility was awful. Any alterations to rentals such as returning the rental early resulted in an increased rental charge. Why would you pay more for returning early? Additionally we had an employee request at this location to return their rental to another location and were told they could do so with no change in the rental amount. Afterwards, we were charged over 3x the original rental amount for a one way rental. (original rental of $800, charged $2800) We attempted to get a refund for this absurd amount from local management as our employee was told their would be no change in rate. As noted by other reviewers, local management provided little to no help and showed no concern for the issue. We contacted customer service and they tried to contact the local management to resolve and did not get a response either. I do not recommend this location at all. Customer service is poor and they nickel and dime business travelers who need flexibility. Enterprise has offsite locations which is bit more inconvenient up front but are better to deal with in the long run. Our employees will no longer be renting from this location and we don't recommend at all for business travelers.
