    Clason is a dealership located in La Crosse Wisconsin. We have done all of our service work with this dealership. We recently had a catastrophic failure with our 2020 GMC 2500HD. It was at Clason’s two weeks prior for a DEF issue which I was required to have Diagnostics run on my truck to verify everything that was wrong with this vehicle to then repair. At that time the diagnostic’s showed only the DEF tank heater failure which was then replaced by Clason’s. Then two weeks after this repair the catastrophic failure occurred and proved to be an oil pump failure at 107,651 miles. We took the vehicle to Clason’s in hopes to receive assistance from them or GM directly. We received an approximated cost to repair with new engine at north of $35,000.00 and would receive no assistance from Clason’s or through their GM rep. We also considered purchasing a new vehicle through Clason in which we never received any offers from the manager (after multiple conversations)! This forced us to reach out to other dealerships to see if any assistance could be offered. We found a dealership that was considerably cheaper to install a brand new GM engine which would save us more than $8,000.00, they also offered to trade-in as is. They also gave us a considerable amount of cost assistance towards a new vehicle and were willing to find a new vehicle to match exactly what we were looking to purchase as we accepted! Clason’s unwillingness to assist us in reasonable repairs or assist in purchasing new with GM assistance has made our decision easy to not work with Clason’s today or in the future!!!

    WORST customer service ever! Multiple occasions, not just a 1 off. This is EXACTLY why my last 2 Denalis were NOT purchased from them but had to have warranty work done. If you can go ELSEWHERE no matter what the issue is. No mention or asking if a loaner is needed. I have to call 3 times a day to get an update on my own vehicle. Complaints with Dealer services with full documentation have been filed.
