I watched a friend of mine do the job solo in a half hour. So I shopped around. The job was done by a shop that quoted $650. The owner said ‘most places charge you labor for each individual part. Everything you’re replacing is in the spot that we’re taking apart, so we won’t do it that way.’ That shop then charged me $365 after the work was done…because I never needed calipers, I just needed a new bolt. My car brakes like new. That’s over $600 less from Lilly Auto across town. Go there instead.
