  Both employees were great! Professional and friendly. Service was competed quickly! I felt the prices were high. I had a $25 off coupon so put me in the ballpark of a reasonable cost on fully synthetic service for my truck!

  Grease Monkey does all of my oil changes.. and like every else the cost has gone up.. but what you can't put a price on is them doing a quick undercarriage inspection and notifying me of a serious problem like this. This is a torn cv axle boot (which left unknown and unfixed) could of led to a winter breakdown, more damage to vehicle if it got to that point, and possibly a serious accident at the point of failure. Thank you Grease Monkey for what you do! This wasn't the first that this has happened either.. they also noticed something with my other vehicle two years ago.. but that too was something that needed to be addressed!

  I've been to this location before a handful of times, both driving my car and as a passenger in my boyfriend's car. The difference in service is pretty much night and day. I kept coming back because it's in a convenient location but after my most recent visit, I'll be heading down to the Valvoline or nearest Take 5. On arrival, all the bay doors were closed and I could see no one inside the building, but one car parked in the center bay. I waited a bit longer, about 5 minutes, and an employee appeared, standing just inside the regular door entrance and waving me to drive up closer. Had I not been staring inside trying to figure out if they were actually open, I wouldn't have seen him. Once I was directed to pull into the bay, the entire inside of Grease Monkey reeked of cigarette smoke. It smelled like they were just smoking inside because it may have been too cold outside. Since all the bay doors were closed, it smelled like an ashtray and made the interior of my car smell like cigarettes. Every instruction and question that was aimed at me was mumbled and spoken while not looking at me or even in my direction. Basically nothing was said to me. I didn't get a new sticker, they didn't show me the color of the oil, I don't think they even checked my other fluids. The service sucked, it smelled, they were rude and for the price? Completely not worth it. Especially when afterwards I passed the new(?) Valvoline location.

  I pulled into Grease Monkey in Janesville for an oil change and was immediately disappointed. Every employee was outside under a tree, smoking cigarettes and vapes, loudly swearing and complaining about the tree and their job. When I pulled up, one of them looked over and told me, “We’ll get to you when we’re done with our cigarettes.” I waited a few minutes while they continued to smoke and curse before I decided to leave. As I was pulling out, they said they’d be ready in a minute — but by that point, I’d already made up my mind. I told them I’d go somewhere that actually cares about customers. I went down the road to Valvoline, and the difference was night and day — friendly staff, great service, and I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Absolutely terrible first impression at Grease Monkey. I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for professional service.

  Went there today for an oil change they were great as always. The one guy, I don't know his name, but he even played peekaboo with my daughter through the car window to keep her occupied and happy while we waited for our oil change. He had her belly laughing so hard it was awesome. Just an amazing group of guys and I hope you know how lucky you are to have them.
