- KWKyle WestJan 23, 20265.0The guys here were extremely helpful this morning. Of all mornings, today it was -20° outside and of course my tire decides to go mostly flat without me realizing. With the cold, there is no outdoor tire inflator that actually works. Fortunately, the guys at Scotty’s were able to get me in, add air to my tires, and advise further action to make sure they don’t go flat again while it’s this cold out. Can’t thank them enough for their help in getting me to work this morning!

- BMBrian MeyerNov 3, 20152.0If you need to get routine maintenance and a standard repair done, this is the place. For other repairs I am not so sure. However, I was not impressed with the overall repaired service work. I even diagnosed the problem before calling for an appointment and then came into them for the repair. First of all, I called and made an appointment that was 7 days out. I show up on the day of the appointment and they did not have me on the schedule. They told me they could get at it anyway. I left the truck all day, came back at 5:15 and they just had it started 30 minutes in. I came in, to have the exhaust pipe gaskets (doughnuts) replaced. They were leaking on both sides. When it was finally done 45 minutes later, they said they only had to replace one gasket on one side. I was skeptical, but accepted their response. Well, after driving home, I heard the same noise/exhaust leak. The other gasket was bad and leaking. Needless to say I was not taking it back to have me get soaked for the other side, when I clearly said that both were bad. I did not have the time or the pocket book to go back. Long story short, I replaced the studs and gaskets on the other side myself. The old adage, if you want something done right, do it yourself. In all the staff and owner are great and friendly people, I just think it was a bad experience that could have been much better. Sorry, guys, but it is what it is.
