- DVDenzel Vargas3 days ago1.0Dropped it off 3 weeks ago was supposed to get new ball joints n front end but was quoted over $1000 so I was going to take it somewhere else, then it wouldn't start. Mind you i drove it there. So I left it with him so he can get it running obviously n he doesn't communicate anything to me the mechanic isn't even answering my calls. Then when I call the shop number somebody else tells me they can't figure it i need to take it somewhere else.

- JWJennifer WarrenOct 28, 20252.01 year ago I gave them 5 stars for their service, this visit I gave them 2 stars only because the place was clean for an auto shop and they didnt make us wait to get help. 1 year ago I had a slow tire leak. We tried the soapy water trick and couldn't find a leak. We went to Monroe and the mechanic couldn't locate the leak so he removed the tire and dunked it and located a very small puncture, so he patched it and then put tire back on. 30 minutes work and he only charged me $5. I was very pleased with the service I received. Recently the same tire kept loosing air, again we couldn't find the leak so back to Monroe for assistance because they did an excellent job previously repairing the tire. I thought they would provide identical service on this visit. I explained the situation, how they located the leak last year after removing tire and patched it from inside the tire. I also sugessted that could be the cause for the leak and asked them to check the previous patch inside tire. The mechanic spent 20 minutes spraying soapy water on the tire and couldn't find anything. He never removed the tire or checked the previous patch and repair they made on this tire. The mechanic said he couldn't find anything leaking, and I questioned if he thought it was the patch placed on the tire causing the leak and he responded "no". So we left and went elsewhere explaining the situation at 2nd repair shop. They pulled off the tire and found the patch done previously WAS the reason for the leak. It wasn't holding air and I needed to replace the tire. Monroe could of gotten my business for replacing both front tires, ( you need the tires to match not just get 1 new tire), instead I purchased tires from the mechanic who did properly diagnose the leak.
