- JBJames BaierDec 26, 20255.0Wife’s tire had a leak after running over a nail. Called and asked if we could get in same day for a patch (3pm called, closing at 530pm on a Friday). Told me to come on in. Put on the spare and went straight there. I get in, show them the tire, and they immediately took it back to patch it. While I’m waiting, they ask me if I’d like to have the tire put back on while I’m there. Then, when I get my car back, I find they put the spare back under the car and put away all the on-board tools I used to put the spare on. I was so blown away I stopped back in to thank them again. Oh and all that was free of charge. What a service, thank you so much!!!
- VMVictor MartinezDec 19, 20251.0I went in for a leaking Brake fluid. I read the reviews and felt comfortable getting my back wheels fixed here. I was quoted $1,535.00 for new calipers, rotors, pads, and brake fluid ( a little high but alright). However, when I went in to pick up my car, the brakes weren’t fixed. I drove it around the parking lot and they still went to the floor. Went inside and he was shocked it wasn’t fixed. He took it back and it was fixed in about 5ish mins (red flag). A short few days later my brake peddle became spongy again and during a trip to MN, my brakes light came on ( left back wheel was leaking brake fluid). Took it to another shop and they said whoever did the job gave me cheap quality rotors. This caused premature wear and tear on my brake system. SO. Silver Lake Auoto. I do not know if yall have mechanics that are training but y’all provide steep prices for low quality products isn’t it. Future customers. PICK AT YOUR OWN RISK.
- ATAlyssa ToboyekNov 30, 20255.0This place is definitely more expensive than some but for the area it's pretty average! I still rate them 5 stars because their customer service was above and beyond. We were having issues with 2 of our tires 2 days before a road trip, they had our tires available and were able to squeeze us in. It sounded like our mechanic even stayed late to make sure they checked in with us and made sure we were on the same page before submitting the billing. He arranged a pickup after hours and even left cookies for us in our car! We never personally met him but these things and how considerate he was on the phone to a woman was very positive. He never made me feel stupid about not knowing as much about cars, and we LOVED their detailed report that had pictures of absolutely everything they checked. Thank you for the great service.
