- MMMax (MaxTheBear)Oct 23, 20241.0Very disappointed! This is the 3rd purchase of a firearm from the store and decided to have it ordered online from their website and have it sent to the store. Waiting for an employee for behind the counter service in the gun department is ridiculous! The last two times I've stood there in the middle of the afternoon with only one employee available for well over 45 minutes. I thought it would be smoother to purchase online and do the store pickup with only the background check to process. NOPE! Even though it was paid for and they got their money up front...Again another 30 minute wait with my hands in the pockets. But here is the kicker... The gun arrived a day after I had gotten my drivers license renewed since it would be expiring soon. I had my old license (which the DMV now has to stamp VOID) and I had what the DMV gave me as the temp (since we have to wait for the government to mail us our permanent ID... BOTH IN HAND! They claim the store policy is that they can't do it with the paper copy since "anyone" can print it off... UMM.... It's me in both I.D.s fellas! Want to see my Conceal Carry Permit with the same address? Want to see my Military I.D. with my same face and name? Want to see my Veteran Affairs I.D. with my name and honorably discharged combat vet? Want to see my Real ID Passport? This is utterly insane that they say I'm not who the person that purchased the firearm online nor can do a background check with all these IDs. Simply HORRIBLE and I would only suggest anyone else purchase elsewhere online (cheaper) and send to a different FFL and bypass the mindless drones that work behind the counter.
