Didn't want it to crack further. I've always heard it's best to catch it sooner rather than later. Set the appointment a couple days ago, they sent several reminders, and the technician, Rachel, even called on the way to my office. When I got out to my garage, she was already cleaning the glass to inspect. When I asked if she had found the crack, she told me she had not. When I pointed it out to her, she explained to me that the abrasion was not bad enough to need their services at this time. How honest! She stayed to discuss what would constitute a need. So pleasant. So nice. Thank you, Rachel and Safelite for such a positive experience.

During the replacement of my front windshield it shattered taking it out. My car was left with microscopic glass pieces throughout the first and second rows. I literally had glass in my pants/skin from the drive home. I called to report this and was told their system was down so someone would get back to me the next day. No one ever followed up on this. My husband spent two hours vacuuming up their mess.

I drove 25 min there just for them to tell me that they JUST unwrapped my new windshield and it was broken in the corner. Which they told me they arrive broken frequently. (You can see the damage inside and out. And they asked me if I still wanted to put it in. Of course not! Who would?) Stuff happens. Life moves on. So, I made a new appointment for a week later. Again, I showed up for my 2nd appointment just to find out that the same issue happened with the second windshield that they ordered! Then they told me they could get me in for an 3rd appointment in 10 days. Seriously? No way! No more unnecessary drives, rescheduling our lives, just to keep receiving damaged windshields. We instead scheduled our car to go to a place that took less than a week to get into and they did a fantastic job! Do not go to Safelite. They are unprofessional and their windshields are garbage.
