- AHAnnie HorneNov 30, 20251.0DEBIT CARD USERS BEWARE- Needed car repairs and need a vehicle before Monday morning and this was the only car rental company location open on the weekend, my partner made a reservation and took a ride share service to pick up a car and we couldn’t get one because they don’t accept debit cards for in-state licensed drivers, need proof of a flight. Was not made aware of this during booking or we wouldn’t have come all the way from Oshkosh. Also this is a first. My partner has rented from here before for work and from the Madison airport location as we had a break down in the area and needed a rental and that was the location with hours that fit our needs, never had an issue in the past we were told it just had to be a bank issued debit card (no PayPal/venmo/cash app type cards.) Waste of time and money, and having to take an uber home in the situation it ended up being ridiculously expensive and there were long wait times to get a ride home due to the weather which could have been totally avoidable if policy was communicated better during booking.
