I'm extremely disappointed with the service at this Valvoline. After waiting outside for an unreasonable amount of time while employees blatantly ignored me and another waiting customer I was met with a dismissive attitude. This is a stark contrast to the excellent service I've received at other Valvoline locations. Management needs to address the lack of teamwork and poor customer service immediately. I will not be back.

I went in a few days ago for an oil change. After being very patient with the service taking about 45 minutes and system issues for payment I was told my receipt would be in my email. Not long after my check engine light came on and I had no receipt in my email. I went back and the assistant manager checked the code and it came up as an 02 sensor according to chatGPT is what he said. He looked under the hood a few times and then had my husband come over to see something under the hood. The car has the oil filter on the top right side of the engine and he points at the airflow line that is pretty damaged right next to it. He’s like did you notice this and was it like that? No we didn’t notice the damage before because it was not like that prior to coming in. Then I recalled observing him and the other worker talk about moving something and did you do that…just put it back. He apparently knew the condition of this airflow line when he serviced it and didn’t even mention it to me. So I let him know I saw him and the other guy talking about moving something and just putting it back when they were changing out my oil filter.Given he said they usually detach and move that line when working but it had no finger smudges and was covered in dust. He said I’ll have to check the cameras, talk with his supervisor and then maybe order the part with me paying their cost for it. I decided to walk away and told him I’d never go back. To which he offered to fully pay but I was over it because if your not going to be honest from the start I don’t want you near my car. After I looked up the code there are several other reasons for it after an oil change like contaminated oil, damaged oxygen sensor wires during oil change, loosened connection in exhaust system during oil change. They didn’t even offer to inspect the undercarriage of the car for any of these possible problems. Either way I’m never going back.
