Penske is a few dollars more than the competition, but it’s always worth it in the end when you have a safe vehicle and clear contract. This location is by far the best that I’ve come across: Renzo, Beatrice and Angel are absolutely wonderful. They’re kind, thoughtful and make sure that you’re taken care of. Thank you so much!
- MFMr. FixitApr 4, 20221.0Apparently they have tow dollys and car trailers but won't rent them to you unless you also rent one of their trucks to use as the towing vehicle. Not very competitive Penske. Not sure who came up with that policy but not very consumer inspiring. Explains why U-Haul has the majority share of the market. Appreciate the prompt reply to my review however it doesn't jive that it is for the safety of the customer. Penske is one of the only companies of which I am aware that has a policy like this. There are hundreds of companies that rent equipment, trailers and other towables that all allow their customers to tow with their own trucks. Penske may want to find out how all these companies are able to accomplish the conveniences they offer their customers. Just a thought. I believe some terms for this are competitive benchmarking and best practices.
- ACAJ CWJul 29, 20202.0When we got there, there was one truck the size that was requested. It had a lift gate on it. We did not ask for one. The guy showing the truck to us could not figure out how to operate it. Spend an additional 15 minutes in the heat doing so. Got the truck, had dirty gloves in the door. Once driving to our destination, we had to keep the steering wheel turned a quarter in order to keep straight! Not fun in very windy areas!! Very scary. So all in all, it is our belief that the truck was turned around way to quickly without thoroughly checking it over. Will not go through them again.
