- RLRoy LongMar 31, 20261.0The workers at the Fredrickson, WA store torqued my filter on and I couldn't get it off with the tools I usually use when I change my own oil. They told me they torque the filters to 25 ft lbs. The recommended torque for my 2015 toyota camry is 18 ft lbs. They also didn't get the retention clip that holds the filter canister from vibrating lose, back into place properly. Then they told me that in their opinion that clip really doesn't do much. Then the person said they really didn't work on that problem. I then stated that they broke it, I asked what are you going to do to fix it. They said they would put a new filter in for me. So I reluctantly gave in since I needed the filter replaced, but I said I wanted to speak to the assistant manager who was there before they put the new filter in to make sure he understood what the proper torque was. They assured me that he would be right there, he never showed up and they proceeded to install the filter anyway. They finished up and sent me on my way. I will be sure to tell all my friends and relatives what shoddy work was done and will never ask your store to service my car. Your price is outrageous 90 plus dollars with a coupon. I can change my oil for just over $20 dollars and I am 83 years old.
