    Phone contacting is the worst. I’m trying to get a hold of them. No one answers the phone. It’ll be nice if they could just call me. Hopefully this gets their attention. If you want your customers to keep coming back. Maybe have someone on the phone.

    My whole experience from booking the appointment online until the job was completed was excellent. The tech did an excellent job filling the ding on my windshield. It’s hard to tell that I even got a ding. The job was completed as promised within an hour timeframe. I am very satisfied with the service. I highly recommend Safelite AutoGlass on South Tacoma Way, TACOMA WA.

    If I could give negative stars I would I spent $457 dollars on a windshield out of pocket in September of 2025 and with this heavy rain I’m dealing with mold due to my windshield not being sealed properly I have mold in my backseat under my passenger seat and on my passenger floor my floor mats had mold all over them I have to soak them in vinegar I called and left a voice mail nothing called 4 times today and got hung up on and or not even talked to because of the automated system which is stupid I’m going to have to the make drive from port orchard to Tacoma tomorrow to get it fixed now

    I arrived at opening looking to get my quarter window replaced my older Audi. Knowing that it would be a stretch to get the window replaced same day I asked when the soonest availability would be. The receptionist immediately said rudely "definitely not today". I still wanted to schedule so she said most likely 3 weeks and pretended to put me in the schedule without any vehicle information. Her counterpart suggested I went to South Tacoma Glass if I needed something sooner. Unfortunately STG couldn't find the windshield I needed so I came back to Safelite to ensure I got scheduled and that they had the glass in their system. This time I dealt with the other receptionist and he involved their lead technician since he had questions whether it was the correct part number they were ordering. Once again they suggested I go somewhere else to acquire the glass since they were unsure if it was the correct one. There was just a certain level of incompetence at this location that I was tired of dealing with so I drove to the Safelite in Fife and they were able to find OEM and replace it the next day.

    If you've had a job done for your fleet vehicles, watch out their sneaky insurance deductible invoices that arrive a month or two later with vague service descriptions. They customer to pay the deductible on the day of the repair, only to send another clever invoice to your company/church/office 2–3 months later. I can't speak for other Safelite locations, but definitely be careful with this location.
